As a Software Helpdesk Support Trainee at enable.services, you’ll play an important part in delivering outstanding service to our clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT, offering hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment, as part of a structured apprenticeship programme.
From day one, you’ll be working alongside a friendly and knowledgeable team, helping to resolve software issues, logging incidents, and contributing to project work. With full training provided, this role is the perfect stepping stone into the world of technology and software support.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, due to the sensitivity of client data.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for software support queries via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to requests promptly and professionally
- Accurately record all incidents and interactions in the Incident Management system
- Work closely with the helpdesk team to resolve issues or escalate when necessary
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build your technical knowledge
- Support with project work, including software and hardware deployments
- Follow company policies and maintain a professional approach at all times

Required Skills & Experience
- No previous experience required just a genuine interest in software and IT
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic about problem solving and learning new technologies
- Able to work as part of a team
- Detail oriented with good organisational skills
