We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to contribute in generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities, generate interest and develop new opportunities with new and existing customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and existing clients through high level client interaction
- Make outbound calls to potential clients and leads with high engagement
- Qualify target customers, obtaining client contact and business information, recording needs and expectations of prospects contacted
- Work closely with the sales team to agree a call strategy and have sufficient understanding of the marketing materials being follow up through the calls
- Accurately update and maintain CRM system and pipeline
- Conduct online demo's to customers and prospects
- Work with existing customers and grow accounts
- Actively be on the search for strategic deals with potential for expansion and cross-selling.
An effective Business Development Representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
You will work as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service in an office based position. The position will suit an individual who can demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and has a genuine passion for IT.

Requirements
- 2+ years B2B Sales Experience
- Full UK Clean Driving License
- Right to work in the UK
On offer is a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 + uncapped commission, dependant on experience, with further training and support throughout your career and opportunities to progress within the company. The hours are full time, 37.5 hours a week, based at our Ipswich office. Flexible work and part-time positions are also available for the right candidate.
